Our Story
MOTHERboard Society was born out of the desire to overcome the overwhelming feeling of loneliness in motherhood.
Our founder, Danielle Melton, started MBS as a small social media group in 2020 — which has grown expeditiously. She created this space for mothers who understand the struggles and juggles of being a working mom--a space for moms to not only be each other's cheerleaders but have each other's backs.
The challenges mothers face are enormous, and the odds are against our continued achievement as professional women once we become mothers. We began to lose ourselves in motherhood and have difficulty finding the women inside the mother.
We strive to support working mothers right where they are by providing programming that works alongside their busy schedules while developing them personally and professionally.
Mothers endure challenges in finding meaningful connections with other working mothers, and we inspire them to remedy that challenge through our MOTHERboard Society's Local Chapters.

MEET THE FOUNDER
DANIELLE MELTON
Danielle Melton is an accomplished executive leader, foster care & adoption advocate, and working-mom visionary.
With a background in school administration and college instruction, Danielle lends her expertise and voice as a champion for working mothers and children worldwide as the founder of MOTHERboard Society™ (formerly, Boss Mom Crew).
What started as a mission to solve a deep personal need to feel connected to other working mothers propelled Danielle to create MOTHERboard Society™ (MBS).
MBS is a community for professional working mothers seeking sisterhood and connection while growing their careers, families, and self with other goal-getting mothers while fulfilling their purpose and passion in work and life.
Under Danielle’s direction, MBS has had a transformative effect on the globe, having created measurable opportunities, including the launch of national chapters, conducting signature events that focus on mothers, creating a mom-owned business directory, leading community initiatives, and much more to over 13,000 women in the United States and across the world.
She has been recognized for her remarkable work and continuous commitment to change and uses her platform to advocate, educate, and help reimagine how career-driven women thrive in motherhood.
Danielle and her husband, Quinton, reside in Tulsa, Oklahoma raising their daughter, Kennedy, and have fostered over 30 children and counting since 2016.

Born and raised in Fairhope, Alabama, Kirsten graduated from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, earning her bachelor's degree in Business Management.
Kirsten is a mother and has a passion for helping others become the best version of themselves, which led her to start a natural skincare brand, Klean Kosmetics.
In her spare time, Kirsten enjoy reading, baking, crafting with her toddler, spending time on our family farm and weekend gatherings with family.

Olivia began social media management after she graduated from the Fashion Institute of Technology in 2020. With a degree in Fashion Business Management from the #1 fashion school in the world, she learned the ins and outs of social media from industry professionals. Through internships at large corporations, she gained experience in creative industries and learned how to grow a businesses. Olivia has a passion for small businesses and wants to help them thrive. She believes in the power of digital marketing and knows that it is a huge task for business owners to add to their to do list. With the ever-evolving world of social media, it is important to put trust in an expert so that you can put your time and energy into other aspects of your business. Olivia loves what she does and can’t wait to start this journey with you!
